3. Additional Services (fee required)
Bus Transfer
The day after the finish of the last stage (at about 8:00, the exact time will be announced during the event) there will be offered a bus shuttle service to take participants who have registered for this service back to the start. The costs for the bus shuttle are EUR 50 and are to be paid during the accreditation.
Additional services that require a fee can be reserved by using the registration form (online registration, or print out PDF and send it in by mail).
4. Food and Drinks/Accommodations
In the stage host cities participants will receive a free dinner after each of the 4 race days and the organizer will provide a sufficient amount of energy bars, sports drinks, and fruit at 2-3 check points per day. All participants are obliged not to leave behind any litter or impair the environment in any way.
Each participant is responsible for finding a place to stay the night. The tourist offices listed under “Etappenorte” will be glad to be of assistance.
5. Result Service
After each stage participants can check out the results either on this website or on Datasport.
6. Luggage Transport
Each participant will receive a sport bag with your start number on it, which will be used during the race and should be packed with clothes, sleeping bag, and toiletries. These bags will be taken by truck to each stage city. Please understand that we can only allow one bag per person.
7. Money and other Prizes
Altogether there will be € 5,000 in cash prizes split between the winners of the various categories. There will also be other valuable prizes.
8. Award Ceremony/Finisher Party
The final award ceremony for each of the categories will be held in the last stage host city on Saturday at 19:00. After the award ceremony and the handing out of the finisher t-shirts to all participants, there will be no holding back when we launch the final party of the 2. SALOMON 4 TRAILS 2012.
